Stinky Is

Thought i'd share this with you all. My IS has had a bit of a odour in it for a little while now, smells like farm yard . I thought it was just the time of the year with the farmers spreading the stuff around and all that ,but it got worse, just smelling in the car, when you got out, good air all around. So yesterday i checked on the site about cleaning pollen filters. Just cleaned it out and found the cause of the smell, stuck on top of the filter was a dead snail, just the shell no-one home don't know how it got there.

That's good to know, I've never even checked mine, just let the guys at the garage replace it whenever it needs doing!

My car stunk of that Gunk engine cleaner for about a week after I cleaned the engine bay, I was constantly high!

Now it just smells of brakes and clutch, everytime I stop I sit there wafting my hand and I reckon bystanders must reckon I've dropped one!

I found the tip of boiling the kettle for 20 mins with the AC set to recirculate to work very well

yeah saw that yesterday so i thought a little investigation was needed took the thing out dumped the snail and sprayed with some anti-bacterial spray smells a whole lot better now.
