Painting Of Quanan Sensors

I have just read "vince-com" excellent article on fitting the Quanan Sensors.

He shows the sensors spray painted.

I have tried to obtain a spray paint for my Is 200 (Platinum Ice) from the dealers but was told that only touch up paint was available.

Assuming that the spray paint can`t be obtained without having it specially made up--very costly!--Has anyone found a way round the problem?

On a bit of a tangent I have just had a spoiler fitted and a mark taken out of the boot so a bit of painting was required. I know it's not cheap but it cost about £65 for the paint which was enough to do the entire boot lid and the spoiler as well. Mine's in platinum ice as well and unfortunately it's classed as pearlescent, which does bump up the price but still, £65 isn't too bad

any paint can be made up into an aerosol spray

Look at the chassis plate and take the colour number and take it in to a accessory store( not sure if Halfords do this)

I paid £3 for a made up aerosol and £3 touch up paint just by giving them the color code. they did not even ask what car it was for.
