Gurgling Sound Inside Dashboard Stopped

Hi. I'm new and I just want to share some suggestions from the nbt Toyota & Lexus parts and dealer mechanics here in Brunei in this forum especially for a proud Lexus owner like myself. I hope some people might find this useful:

I have read threads about gurgle and rattle sound coming from inside the dash board and I tried each suggestions by members; draining & refilling the coolant, bleeding the cooling system because there's air bubbles and stuff. Some might work but in my case was no success.

I was told that it's got to do with the servo motor which needs replacement on all four parts. The 4 parts cost about B$1520 (about £525 ) altogether excluding charges.

The mechanics at nbt Brunei suggested that I change the temperature setting on my a/c until the rattle stops. I usually have the a/c ON at 18 degrees coz it's very hot and humid here. But today, I tried switching them higher 0.5 degree at a time until it stops rattling at 22.5 degrees. No more noises... for now. So it doesn't irritate me anymore and I can drive happily with total silence. :winky:

I am driving a toyota Rav 4 (stop laughing) at the moment while I'm waiting on my car coming back!!!

there is a noise that comes on at random from behind the dash that sounds like a motor from a pump (like a fuel pump noise). This noise stays on constantly and even when the car and ignition is turned off you can still hear it going but it eventually dies down to a complete stop.

It has to be the most irritating noise I have ever heard from a car and I haven't a clue what it is.

The car has air con but I don't use it.
