Spare Parts Even After 15 Years?

Hello everyone! (I'm new...)

Before I go ahead and give myself the pleasure of owning a second hand LS 400, I have a general Lexus question:

Can you get ALL spare parts for these cars, or do the cars get "to old".

Is Lexus a company that consider their product worth keeping, even after 15 years?

I've heard the opposite regarding Toyota. After 10 years, your car is going into the twilight zone - where parts MAY be available, or not...

All replys will be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,

Alexander from Sweden

Currently there are no problems with getting any Lexus parts and we haven't been informed about any parts being discontinued. With regards to Toyota they are actually quite good with there back catalogue.....about one year ago i had to order a Manifold for a 1979 Toyota Crown and they had it in stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys!

Maybe Toyota handle matters differently on different markets?

Good to hear about the Lexus parts...  :)

regardless of geographical location, the parts supply will be the same, there will be a national depot (uk its in the midlands)

for europewide, its in belgium, then for out else Japan.

so there shouldnt be a parts supply issue regardless of which country your in, aslong as Toyota has a depot
