Apexi Or Hks

Hey guys, im new at this place by needed some opinions. Would u guys rather prefer the Apexi N1 muffler or the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust?

if its a "must" choose between the 2 ... i'll go for HKS. But be warned, its a loud NGroup muffler. Also be sure u dont have any misplaced preconceptions about performance increases (especially in the low rev range).

Agree with Bernard, the HKS is LOUD, but between the two I'd go with the HKS :).

i disagree with the above. i'd go for the APEX'i over the HKS system.

i have a friend who has a HKS cat-back system like that on his car. it's fine - nice power + torque gain and is fairly loud! another friend has an APEX'i cat-back system on his car. the power gain is about the same, but the torque gain is higher. the note isn't quite as loud as the HKS but rather has it's own very distinctive note.

just my opinion anyway.

HKS dont do a cat back system for the IS200/300

I don't have experience with the Apexi, but I heard both exhausts on the IS300 in a video and I think I liked the Apexi tone a bit more.

I was gonna get an apexi pipe but a lot money. i would go with them, if not for the pipe just slightly different you see HKS everywhere premote Apexi i say he heheh

if u want quiet and HKS, then you should go for the Hi Power ... you need the HKS Hi Power Silent. Its a totally different exhaust. U can recognize it by a huge resonance chamber next to the muffler for noise abatement.

Don't know if the Blitz Nur Spec is available for your car, but they are also known to be silent than the HKS :).
