Whats The "ect" Switch For? On My 1994 Gs300

Hi all,

Was cleaning the car today and "found" the ECT switch. Its selections are either Norm or Power...

What does this do??

Hi,

Its a sports mode button,it changes the gearbox shift pattern.The autobox should rev higher before changing up a gear and it should also change down the gears sooner under acceleration.
