it is funny how all the 'boys racers' have lexus stlye lights on there clio's, saxo's fiestas etc....

but my lexus has normal rear lights. i did have a set of rear black lexus stlye lights on my v6 mondeo a couple of years ago

I've changed my indicator units to clear on mine and it looks a lot better.

I do like those lights,I'd really like a jap/us rear number plate panel, same for the front. Wondering if I bought us rear lights, they would go far enough in so as to give the effect of the aforementioned panel..hmm.

The rear lights on the Jap spec are different, the UK spec outer light cluster finishes flush with the edge of the boot lid and the inner set continues in from there.

On the Jap spec which I have the outer set continues further in and then you have the inner set because less room is need for the Jap/US number plate.

look here

Hi just read this post and kinda confussed.

I too am looking to change the lights/lens of my K-reg Lexus LS400.

I want clear, also do they do the round style rear lights rather than strips as shown in the pic above.

So where can I get them from, how much and do they fit ?

Cheers

steve could you put up a pic of the rear of the car with the boot open please? I'm trying to work out if I could fit US ligths to mine and whether they'd catch on the boot.

Sorry been busy at work so not been paying attention to the forum until now, I will take a picture tomorrow and post it up for everybody to see the difference.

By the way has anybody else got a Celsior? I think mine's pining for a mate!!!
