Is it something to do with US Emission tweaks?

And what period / milage between changes?

Sorry don't know about the specs, but why not go for Denso Platinum or iridium, as those are normally standard spec?

Platinum are normally every 60k or 5 years. Dunno about iridium, perhaps longer life?

Denso iridium are high performance plugs.....the spark that burns twice as bright burns half as long: they are good for 30K

It will be the packprice. LSs are expensive, but not made of gold.
