Once you get a roof rack, you may have to get a bike "holder" for each bike you wants to carry!

Bike Holder

If you're weedy like me you'll go back to the boot mounted one...

I recently bought some Thule roof bars of another member they fit fine. Then bought 2 bike carriers from decathlon for £8.50 each that fit perfectly well, much cheaper than the Thule ones, tho I admit they don't look as solid.

I bought the roof bars from lexus for £100 then added these carriers available from Halfords

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...79529&langId=-1

sorry if the link doesn't click and you have to cut & paste it

basically, the bikes are held tightly with the upright post, you wedge the front wheel into the moulded part so have hands free to do the rest, everything locks so you can leave your car unnatended outside cafes, services etc. (although not something i like to do with my scott genius on the roof!)

And i paid £56 for a pack of 2 cariers 18 months ago of this tinternet site but the price seems to have shot up

http://www.skidrive.co.uk/cycle/cyclesearc...ype=roof&res=20

they are very good and glad i didn't go for the cheaper option

hope this helps :D
