im thinking i might just take the cat off and remove the insides and then it is a nice decat that fits pefectly

That was my plan aswell, and doesn't cost anything lol

I'm really surprised they're different to the supra, only going by heresay, be interesting to see.

im sure they must be different as the exhaust manifold is different so maybe the angles are different

Im getting the mk4 supra blitz 2nd decat pipe fitted as i hear its the best for the job.

Im going to leave the first cat in as i want to get it through future MOT's without any hassle of putting a cat back in.

Also im looking to run no more than 1.1bar at the absolute maximum and 'should' be able to do this with a single cat still in and still with the stock exhaust system also.

Also seeing as if you do decat the the whole system you need a restrictor plate i thought it probably wont flow much more than leaving one cat in anyway.

im sure you wont boost anywhere near 1.1 bar with the 1st cat still in place. That is the most restrictive one. With the 2nd cat removed you will boost about 0.9bar or so. these are the figures that the supra guys go by.

With second cat removed I can boost 1.2 bar with no problems.

I had the blitz second decat pipe but changed it when i lowered the car as it kept scraping everywere. No got a s/steel 2 1/2" one ( blitz was 3") and you can feel the difference with it especially low down in the rev range.

The small amount of back pressure gives better low down power (before coming on boost) and a 2.5" pipe is good for 450 brake.

The only thing to remeber that removing any of the cats will plunge your fuel economy way down. That was the first thing I noticed after doing mine , much more power but crap mpg.
