Few Questions Re: Mods

Hi, I should be picking up my IS200 se this week at some point, can't wait! Its a dark green colour, not sure what the colour is called though...

Anyway, Id like to do a few exterior mods to start (power mods come later after I move house!)...

1) Id like to change the rear lights... what options do I have? Id prefer something a bit more subtle, as every bloody corsa and saxo near where I live has similar lights! Pics of options would be cool...

2) Ive seen a few different front grilles, my favourite just having a small black TRD logo. What style is this? Also what is the sports grille? Ive used the search, but everyone already seems to know what they are talking about, so its not too much use!

3) Where can I find some pics of different sized / style alloys? And are there any problems fitting 18"s ? My mr2 was pretty much limited to 17" wheels, otherwise it would tramline like hell....

And most importantly, how much and where from for 1) and 2)

No1, The thing is Saxo's and Corsa's are trying to be a lexus, you actually own one :winky:

You could always take them apart and spray the insides green, similar to the TOM's design.

No2, This is the sports grill mate, Was £35 for Lexus dealer. Little badge says sport.

No3, Possibly try Google images for the pics.

1) the only other lights available all have the same shape and look, cept either LED lighting, or dark chrome finish,, dotn worry about what the corsa crew are doing just be smug in the thought that you actually got a whole lexus free with your lights..

2) the TRD is known as a TRD front grill,, the sports grill is available from Lexus.

3) you can go 18 or even 19 in pretty much whatever style of wheel your after.

Yep, pre painted. A few dealers will also fit it for you free, although it is only a 5-10min job.

here is mine £35 from lexus stoke! i am in liverpool and they posted it free of charge ring round as some dealers charging different prices

I got my sports grill off eBay can't remember how much for now, its fine.

Corsa's and all the other little chumps are just wanna be lexus owners...just remember your driving the car that started the craze.

Hope this helps, your car is same colour as my IS200 Sport, it's Kensington green and the part number for the Sports grill is .......GBNGA-59051-G0 (1-GO is the paint code)

With regards to the Sports Grille, Im gonna order tomorrow - Tango said my paint code was 1-GO, but as far as I can see my colour is green and the code should be 6Q7, can anyone clarify? Cheers!

As it was my mistake, i'd better own up to it . My metallic green 200 is paint code 6Q7 and my Cadoxton Slate 250 is the one with paint code 1-G0 ....sorry for any confusion.

Just co-incidence that the last three letters/numbers of the Green Sports Grill are 1-GO
