Cleaning Beige Lexus Carpet Mats

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys.

My beige mats need a good wash, but as I've always had rubber mats (Even now I use clear ones over the carpet to prevent constant soiling but keep the interior 'light') I've not had to wash any b4. Can I just shove 'em in the washining machine/dryer ? I don't want the colour to go weird or anything. As for the actual carpet of the car floor - I take it a valet would be the obvious thing to do, but as I've already done my seats and headlining etc with a decent product, I though I may as well try to do it all myself. Thanks for your auggestions. :)

I use my mums vax on the mats. It wont get everything out but the majority of stains and marks it will. My mate owns a valeting company and he gives me G101 which basically cleans everything, the interior, carpets, dash, the lot. Good stuff.

What about a supermarket carpet cleaner/stain remover and a hoover? Like 1001?

(Not done it myself mind)
