Sports Grille

Recommended Posts

Hi all, ive just been informed my sports Grille has come today so ive read up and it doesnt take long to fit so i was going to have a bash at fitting it.

ill cut to the chase.... i was reading a thread last week which gave a link to an altezza site (austrailian i think) where a pdf file could be downloaded, which showed you how to replace the grille step-by step.

i cant seem to find it now :duh: so id be grateful if someone could give me the link to it if at all possible.

update!

well i fitted my sports grille last night (kind of)! i took the old grille out easily, toot 2 mins but struggled to get the new one in. I couldnt get the clips on the bumper to clip onto my sports grille (i tried for ages) but it seemed to be sturdy enough once screwed back in place.

If you take all 5 "screws" out at the top you will get some movement in the bumper to get the clips to lift up a bit that makes it easier to clip on the bottom of the grille.

It is worth the effort as even though it is secure as it is it looks better when fully clipped in.

thats what i tried,l im going to have another bash at the weekend when i have more time. i took off the the naff plastic screws (2 at either side of the grill, whcih connect to the bumper) and the one metal screw in the centre.

there seemed to be plent of movement there, but i didnt want to force it onto place and snap anything.
