Parking Senor Kit

Recommended Posts

From the reversing light feed, that way the sensors are only activated in reverse.

Just splice in to the +ve cable for the lamp. Give a search through the knowledge base for the colour of the cable.

Aha I see, the box is second hand and no power lead with it (your original post read that you wanted to know where to connect up the kit :) )

http://www.cobravehiclesecurity.co.uk/contact/ might help you locate a lead, failing that, it shouldnt be too hard to solder on some extension leads to the connector. If it's secondhand, not a problem, if it is new, then I would have a word with who you bought it off and see where the lead is.

If you want to go down the solder leads to it option, then you will need to take the thing apart and identify the ground and +12V, if the thing is screwed together, then this should be an easy job to do.

It will most likley be connected to the reverseing lamp, so remove the inner cover in each rear corner (inside the boot) and look for a set of wires which dont look like theyt should be there (if you know what I mean).

Are you saying you have recovered this out of a scrap car ?
