Another Burglary!

I have a good idea who was responsible......

There's a lowlife estate down the road and every evening a group of toerags hang around at the end of the road where the council have thoughtfully placed a nice bench. They hang around drinking cider and smoking weed and generally working towards an ASBO. I was actually planning on paying the police a visit tomorrow to voice my concerns!

Also tuns out that the house two up from me was burgled only 3 weeks ago.......they were in his house all night and helped themselves to pretty much all they wanted.

Mike,

Skip complaining to the local police and write direct to your local councillor - they administer ASBO stuff in liaison with other agencies. Any advice needed give me a shout.

Yep, scenes of crime officer came round but as the door and most of the furniture they'd moved is wooden, no fingerprints.

I'll have a look at some CCTV options. Now that the toerags have seen what else is in the house they may well fancy another visit.

Sorry - did i read this right?? the furniture is wooden and they say you cant get fingerprints from it?? This is totally incorrect - technology is so advanced there is almost nothin that cannot retain a print. Insist Scenes of Crime attend and carry out a proper examination.

That's exactly what I've done......and copied my neighbours with the letter!

Hey Mike, So Sorry to hear this. Glad ur all ok though, which is the main thing. My best mate's had the same thing in like the same time frame and in a good area too. hmph no theft in middle eastern countries hehe

Glad about the consensus on chavs on here btw - totally agree; and as for the f/prints thing:

Utter madness. I know all police arn't like this, but this is typical of the attitude I seem to have gotten from them whenever I've or a friend has needed them. - Incompetant, lazy, and unhelpful..and we're talking about situations where the crime (blatant theft), culprit (and location), and evidence was provided on a platter so to speak. - Open and shut, only needed go round his house, and find him in possession. - Couldn't be bothered. This is one of three similar experiences I have had. Don't get me onto the stop search methods they used b4 having to fill out forms. They actually accused me of a series of crimes (fires) and said they had evidence against me so they could search me, then once they were done all of a sudden I wasn't the suspect. - It scared the wits outta me, I was only 12 ! Then the whole issue of Mr de Menezies made me feel sick. It all just goes on. I don't feel safe with police around now - I feel nervous, and I'm not even black or a Muslim. - In fact I have a complexion just like Mr de Menezies...

Anyway guys so sorry about the :offtopic: rant, and all u good coppers out there, I respect and appreciate what u do. The others....Sort your b :tsktsk: y act out !

Peace.

Chill mate, I was a copper myself for four years and I really can't fault the Scenes of Crime officer, there was bugger all to look at.

As it is, I shot off a few emails to my local councillors...with positive results, so far.

Let's just see if their usual politcal blah-de-blah actually comes to something?

^^^that is the problem my friends house was robbed 3 times in one year(they knew clearly no 1 was at home at certain times of the day cuz of work etc...), sure insurance replaces it after awhile but it's the fact sum is coming to your home taking your things and sum things can't replaced...

Finger prints not found, lets be fair even idiots probably would wear gloves, so we can't totally blame the police etc...

Hope you get your things sorted and they are caught.
