Hey peeps

I Apologise before i start as i'm a a nugget with all things electrical.

My m8 who fits ICE for a living has told me about a lovely little Gizmo by JL Audio that allows the use of the original Lexus head unit with my full JL audio system.

It works by connecting all the wiring from the head unit into it and then processing it and allowing the connection of my amps and subs,plus you can add a TV and DVD if wanted.

It was about the price of an average head unit (about £250 ish) and helps keep up that stealth look !!!

i wonder if it will work on a lexus is200 head unit

i like the OEM sound quality, its way better than the pioneer avic f900bt i used to have in the car ( took it out and replaced it back with oem)

cleansweep is still availiable as well as ones from other ICE manufactures, (rockford,maxxsonics that i know of)

but for the cost its prob better getting a new HU.

I got a Rockford 360 Processor and its definately worth the cash. Especially when you consider the additonal cost and complexities invloved in keeping the factory sat nav working.

its only a small bypass box that costs less than a tenner!!

i guarantee that a good HU for less than that would sound better, but if you want to keep the stock OEM unit (and risk the err3) then the interfaces are a good alternative...
