Okay, been meaning to do this for ages - in a nutshell, if someone is thinking (or has) bought this car - here is its history up to 2006.

IS200 SE

Pre-Registered in Sept 2000 on X372 YEL.

Was either a demo (unlikely) or just a pre-register to get the figures up - and sold in 2 or 3 months to an Elderly Gentleman in Dorset (hence unlikely, demo's typically run 6 months).

He owned it for about a year - only taking it to football, before trading it for a GS - and it came into my possesion at 18 months old with about 9000 miles on the clock in March 2002.

I then subsequently owned it for 4 and half years, covering about 50,000 miles - mostly motorway miles too and from heathrow. The car was garaged most of the time and serviced on the button by lexus Swindon every year.

Passed 3 MoT's under my ownership without a single problem - and only once had 1 issue.

A door tweeter blew, which forced the stereo into safe mode - while under warranty - during fault finding the stereo and amp were replaced with brand new items (in 2003).

Other than that, the car was faultless - and served me very well - it was sold in September 2006 to a guy in Bath, and as long as he maintained the service history, it should be a very good purchase.

I think you'll find its already sold and the info is for whoever bought the car and if im right i'd say it was sold to a dealer so if the buyer has heard of/joined LOC its a bit of additional info. :winky:

the car was sold a couple of months ago to a private buyer - this post was simply for info incase a potential buyer searches on loc in the future for the car..
