Keith you are a life saver. Allbeit it has a mark on it i will go for it. The reason i never spotted it (as i check daily) is the spelling of the word 'chrome' (is this case crome).

I.o.u a HUGE favour. THANK YOU VERY much!!!!!!!!

Neal.......No problem mate, that's what the LOC is here for, hope you get it cheap :driving:

Keith

I was contemplating buying the 3 that was on offer and yesterday i did. Even though i posted this topic several days ago i suppose my intention was to purchase them anyway. I bought the 3 yesterday and you very kindly provided the information for number 4. I contacted the person selling the individual wheel and made him an offer and he accepted. As i am in Derby(shire) he is in Wales and is going to post it to me. I am told i will receive it in the next few days.

As i have my IS300 for sale on eBay i am left with my LS430. These wheels are to be fitted to this vehicle. I have (or will have) 4 wheels, 4 tyres, 20 special nuts and all i now need is 4 wheel spacers as these wheels will NOT clear the brake caliper. This will be my next purchase but i don't know what mm spacers i need.

Anyway Keith, Thank you once again.

then i tryed fitting my 17s on my ls400 the other day i needed 10mm spacers on the front but they looked to small in the arches now they are on ebay for sale if any one wants them

I know exactly where your coming from. I bought a set of 18" chrome alloys complete with centre caps and nuts etc. Tried 1 on and it didn't go over the brake caliper. As they were fitted with hub rings they went over the hub. It looked like a tiddly wink!. I took it off and sold the set. Now thinking these original Lexus 18" chrome alloys would fit i started again. The same has happened exept i don't need hub rings as they are an exact fit. As i don't want to keep going through this ordeal i have decided to fit this set. They are brand new with brand new tyres. Original Lexus with Lexus centre caps too. As far as Lexus are concerned they don't supply an after market set of alloys/chromes for my LS430.

As this vehicle cost me a lot of money i don't want to mess around with it. Also Lexus inform me that by replacing the wheels for original Lexus chromes ones i don't invalidate the warranty. So i am happy about that at least. In the meantime i have ordered several sets of spacers as i haven't a clue what mm i need?

As you have an LS400 do you think/know if they are the same distance as my LS430?

When i had an IS200 and fitted 19" alloys to it i had to change the studs for longer ones. My IS300 in currently on eBay. I have replaced it with the LS430.

Thanks.......................

i don't know as i have not seen a 430 up close but i have the mk3 400 with the std. 4 pot cliapers and it needed 10mm spacers but if i had the mk2 i would not need any as they are smaller but what i did is not buy the spacer i used washers and just one on at the time unil it cleared about 1mm then sized the washers up
