Wierd Noise

Any of you lot had this? When I turn my steering wheel on full lock it sort of, er, beeps. The first time it did it I thought I'd knocked the horn.

I mentioned it once when I took it to the dealership, but they didn't spot anything. Think they thought "we've got a right one here..."

Still does it though!

My old one used to do that.... I haven't noticed it on this one though.

It's more a soft sort of "chirrup" noise. I always thought I was going mad.... at least we can go insane together

Haven't noticed myslef although it could be in the same school of thought with the reversing beep to remind you are are reversing - this could be a similar concept to let you know you are turning the steering wheel

Mine does that at full lock either way. I thought it was the horn, though I can't think why.

its the by-pass on the steering rack allowing the oil to pass
