I was wondering if anyone knows?

Are Lexus planning on launching a "new" SC model like they have done with the IS ?

Allthough I like the Lexus designs and find them quite innovative, I must confess I don't like the current design of the SC it needs a major "makeover", so would any of you SC experts out there happen to know the future of the Lexus SC ?

I read somewhere that they were designing a true 2 door roadster. Sure it mentioned it would be upwards of the cost of a 911. +£80k.

Note sure if they will develop more around the current shape. 2006 changes I understand are very good and the new gearbox makes a difference.

As far as I know nothing is planned until late 08 early 09.

As far as I know a remake of the SC is going to come 2008 as a 2009 model. Most probably as a SC460 with the same 380hp engine of the new LS460. Rumors also name a SC500. It should be a full 4-seater convertible, similar to BMW 6er (hardtop though). If so, this will sure add up on the price tag...

Good times are coming for sure.
