Clutch Squeek

Hello bit of a strange one i have noticed that when i press

the clutch pedal down there is a Squeeking noise (& no its not a mouse)

at first i thought it might be the spring on the pedal, but the noise is

coming from under the car.

Any ideas before i take it to a garage to get clutch checked out

is there any moving parts that i might be able to Grease from underneath

as all i can see in engine bay is the clutch master cylinder

i have tried the test to see if clutch slipping( put it in to third gear and accelerate) but seems fine.

might be the clutch release bearing

mine has the same noise, on here and local garage said its the clutch release bearing and nothing to worry about although it is annoying. Get it checked out if/when the time comes to change the clutch

I also have the same problem but it seems to be intermittent maybe i just have the stereo to loud to notice it anymore :D i'm due a service next month ill let you know the outcome hopfully it is just the release bearing, if anyone has a service before me I would appreciate any info on the outcome relating to squeeky clutch syndrome

My old IS200 sport did it. Under warrenty the release bearing was replaced...and they did the clutch whilst they had it in bits :D

You might find that it's noisey first thing and after a good run it's less so.
