Sorry if this is a bit trivial guys, but how much is a years (& 6 months) Tax on the LS400? What is the CO2 level for a car of this size?

Hi,

The CO levels don't apply to older vehicles so it's £96.25 for 6 months and £175.00 for 12 months.

I don't mind paying this rate as it's just the same for any vehicle over 1600cc but would like to see Tescos doing buy 1 litre get 1 free on petrol!!!

6 months tax is the same as half of 12 months PLUS 10%.

If you want to tax the car for 8 months, buy 12 and send it back to DVLA a few days before the end of the last month you want it. You will get a full refund on the months not used.

You can not get a refund over the counter, it has to be posted to the DVLA and you can get the refund form from the post office, it is not downloadable.
