Has anyone wanted this?

I can't see it in the personalisation options for the IS.

Ironically, though, I do see "Auto Blow Up", which had me laughing for quite a while.

That'd be a handy feature. I've just about stopped myself from reaching for the 'key' when I park up but now I've started to forget to lock the bloody car!

I think the car should realise the key isn't nearby and lock itself after a few minutes or so.

Personally I'd love to have it as cannot count the number of times I fail to remember whether I've locked it or not..I know they say short term memory is the first to go :D . Would be a good idea though, can't think of any downsides??

It seemed a natural extension to what's already there, to me.

I frequently forget to lock my car as it is, but the less I need to use the remote for the more likely it will become.

I can't imagine it would be too hard, either.
