Air Induction Kit For Mk Gs300

Recommended Posts

Has anyone sucsesfully installed an Air induction kit into a MK1 GS300.

I was planning on somthing like a Quikshift Taipan if i can get on to fit...

Can anyone point me in the right direction of one that is enclosed. There is no point having an open cone cos it will most likley suck in more hot air than cold.

I would say definitely but I also had custom exhaust fitted as well.

Lot better on acceleration and also sounds a lot better. Not boy racer loud but a lot more throatier sound.

I can only speak for the system I have. I was advised that it was the best system for my vehicle without major modifications. It was fitted in 2 hours. It is also just as easy to take this kit off and reinstate the OEM original parts if I wish to do so.

I don't think any induction kit will make a MAJOR difference to performance just on its own.

The HP gain will probably be the same with any induction kit. It is when you add manifold & exhaust sytems etc and start going down the road of all out engine mods that you will see great differences.

Exactly, how much does Mr. T spend on development ? then for less than £200 someone offers huge performance gains, it just isn't going to happen. Admittedly manufacturers have to meet emmission and noise levels, but if more power was so easily gained just by getting more air in they could and would do it. More power requires more fuel & air.
