Damaged Wing Mirror

Recommended Posts

I just found out my girlfriend broke the n/s wing unit mirror on my IS200. The mirror unit is fine but its the stalk that has been damaged. The whole thing is being held together using electrical tape.

I called up Lexus Twickenham today and they told me it may cost in the region of £250-300!! for a replacement??

Can anybody confirm this price is correct or does anyone know where I can get replacement parts for cheaper than waht i've been quoted???

Like winnie says 24/7 Spares I got a N/S mirror through them and paid about £60 for it. Don't worry about the colour, provided the colour coded bit is not damaged you can swap over.

Only 2 types AFAIK heated or not, check which you have because the connectors are different, I had to butcher the wiring with "bullet" connectors because I got a non heated one.

Edit........Oh and don't take the first price wait for a few and call back the cheapest.
