Help! - Dead Fuse, But Which One?

My radio stopped working today. So did my boot release, aerial, courtesy light, electric steering wheel adjuster and central locking. Also, the trip counters both reset to zero when I turn the ignition off.

I'm guessing that all these things are protected by the same fuse, so I had a look at the fusebox down by the driver's foot well. All fuses appear to be good, but logic tells me it must be a fuse at fault.

My fuse bank has no cover and no map, so there is no way to tell from the outside which of the fuses control these items. Does anyone know which of these fuses I need to change in order to get my bit working again?

Or is there another fusebox somewhere else...?

There is another fusebox under the bonnet just behind the Battery. I'm afraid the manual doesn't list what fuses are what, it just states that there should be a sticker on the inside of the lid.

Had same problem myself.

The fusebox you need is in the drivers footwell.

Unless you are a contortionist the best thing to do is to pull all the fuses till you find out which one has gone.

I would also pull each of the big power fuses in that area and re-fit.

You will need to reset your radio code if its coded and you will loose your two trip mileage records.

It's a bit hit and miss because of the awkward location of the fuse box but an easy fix none the less.

Yeah, I tried that, but as I said, all fuses look good. Does anyone have a map of what fuses do what?

i totally agree with the other reply ,it also happend to me ,it will be one of the fuses in the drivers well,i would recheck them and even test them ,i bet my grannies false teeth thats where the problem lies

As Piperdog said you have got to pull each fuse and replace it with a known good one.

It is worth the cost of buying a few new fuses.

I doubt your problem is with the main power fuses.

Thanks guys, I found the problem last night. It was a blown 10 amp fuse...in the bank behind the Battery. :)

Look forward to receiving those teeth... :D
