Come On, Help Me Out...

Depends on what you're after - something sustaineable or whether you want to waddle around with excess bulk. don't knock it until you've tried it. I've found everyword of the following true.

I am not knocking it but in accordance to what the dude wants, pilates isnt the answer for him.

As for waddling around with excess bulk; i certainly would prove you very wrong and there are many lads out there whom are big but also agile as hell. Even when i at my normal 224-230lbs weight there is no 'waddling'.

I think you could do with some more work on your arms :whistling: ..................Yeah right

Oh mate i have lost about a good 1.5" off them because i have had to trim down recently. Bit gutted actually.

Just out of interest Pip whats your workout routine, Do you have multiple routines that you rotate or do you just do the same routine until you hit your plateu (sp) then change?

I tend to keep it simple mate. Basic heavy compound movements.

I train 4-5days a week. It really depends as for my latest job i was training 7 days with also a lot of cardio too.

Goes something like:

Shoulders & Forearms

Back and biceps

Chest and Triceps

Legs

Thats on each day a different body part.

Not quite following dude?

Ah, might not have been you I saw at Charlesworth then

No dude you havent seen me. Believe you and me, you would know if you did :winky:

Looking Good Pip

Still on carb depletion???

I am :(

Had a week off though with my Son arriving :) first day back today LOL Happy Days

As a lot of people have said Jamie m8 to do it right is a lifestyle change and you have been making small adjustments to your diet, For me fizzy drinks(diet stuff is Ok and at least 2-3 ltrs of water a day)

To achieve your goals you have to want it.

ROME wasnt built in a day and it takes time to build good quality muscle tissue and it really becomes a case of you are what you eat :)

Just to give you a quick example of my diet (i am cutting weight) Yours would differ as you would be taking in Extra Calories as i am taking in less.

Brekky :- 40 g protein 40g porridge oats

Mid Morn:- Meal Rplacement and Banana

Dinner:- 140g Chicken 50g carbs(pasta or brown rice) green veg or salad

Tea:- 140g Chicken 50g carbs(pasta or brown rice) green veg or salad

Evening:- 140g Chicken green veg or salad

Supper :- 40 g protein 40g porridge oats

Along with Vitamin supplements and with this i still drink tea/coffee diet coke etc.

But make sure i drink at least 2 ltrs a day of water.

I have 2-3 cheat meals a week where i eat whatever i want :D

Its mentally tough as Pip will agree but the results are worth it :D

My Training Routine is staright forward like Pips

Day 1 Cardio am PM Shoulders and Triceps

Day 2 Cardio

Day 3 Cardio AM Back and Hamstrings

Day 4 Cardio

Day 5 AM Cardio PM Chest and biceps

Day 6 AM Cardio

Day 7 AM Cardio PM Legs and calves

Keep it simple i use decent weights but use strict form and technique controlling the weight for the full range of movement.
