Advice On A Couple Of Mods I'm Planning.

Hi guys,

On my 626GT, I installed power folding mirrors from a J-Spec MX-6, and wired them to the ignition through a changeover relay.

I would like to do the same for my GS300.. so does anyone have ideas where to source mirrors... (presume Aristo) and likely cost.

Next one..

I also installed HID lights, as the 626 has projector beam light units as std.. (yeah, on a '92) I know I could just put HID bulbs in, but the glare may get the local dibbles aroused.. again, I presume I would be better sourcing HID light units, or retrofitting projectors.. but where/ how much?

only place i know that do HID kits are Prolex-UK talk to Dave im sure he could point you in the right direction.

Yes Dave does HID kits for the GS, and very good they are too.

You can also find them on eBay, but you take your chances with them

I have been importing HID kits as a bulk buy for MX6.com... excellent quality, direct from manufacturer.

What concerns me is the projectors of HID lights, and whether there would be too much glare by just fitting HID bulbs in the std lights.. I have seen some dual halo lights on eBay for about £260 for all 4 units plus the import duty I guess... but I would probably prefer the original lights from a HID model..
