Ls400 Satnav Boot Unit

Hi folks I'm a newbie here, and am seeking help with a problem please. The boot unit which houses the SatNav CD-ROM has failed, it no longer reads the disk. A lens cleaning disk made no difference, nor did some gentle "percussive maintenance". I've trawled through hundreds of postings on the board, and the general opinion seems to be that they are not repairable due to non-availability of the laser unit. Does anyone know if/where they CAN be repaired? (long shot) Or does anyone have one for sale? (reaaaaaally long shot!) Good price paid... :) Regards Paul
