Rear Brake Calipers Help Plz

i am looking at a second hand drivers side rear caliper for IS200 and its on a 2001, Yreg IS200 so was wondering would it fit my 1999, Vreg? also is #40 inc delivery a fair price?

What's wrong with the one you are replacing?

The "new" caliper will fit but you have no guarantee that it is any better than the one you are replacing. I would say that £40 is a fair price including delivery as they are pretty heavy.

my current 1s clip has been broken off and its damaged so i clip wont fit >> it rattles a lot

its like a long pin goes from side to the other

nope not hit it it was just like that when i brought it, didnt happen on test drive but few days into me owning it it started ratteling only just got it checked as it went into garage

Did you buy from a dealer, if so take it back. They can tell if it is a new as the parent metal will be clean, if not it was like that when sold and should have been sorted.

hello, i no egsactly what ur on about m8 because i replaced 2 rear calipers due to the pin housing breaking off, ur betta off getting a new pin which cums in a cit costing arround £45 otherwise when you put the old pin in the new caliper it could break the eye off due to it being bent. if it wont slide in then dont force it or u will end up having to get another caliper like me lol and they cost me £150 ago for a re-cond one. its a common fault with the rear calipers cause i no sumbody who worked for lexus in hull

a lexus dealer will tell you its a common issue, to get you to accept the cost of the parts
