Gone Off Milk Smell

Recommended Posts

Have a quick question about my 99 IS200

After about driving for 15 minutes or so after a cold start a waft of gone off milk smell flows through the cabin then goes away until the next start.

Any ideas what it could be?

New plugs in about 4 months ago with a k&n oem replacement filter installed a month ago

Not a big deal but could it be leading to something a bit more serious?

had this with my BMW and it was the water in the screen wash had gone off. Needs totally cleaned out and disinfected. I was told sometimes mixing the chemicals of different screen wash can cause the problem and stagnant water.

open the container and have a smell, and be prepared to be sick. I thought it was cat on exhaust but couldn't understand why it was coming through heater system.
