Baffle Wanted!

Hi all,

Anyone have one or know where to get a baffle for a HKS Hiper exhaust?

I love how loud it is but the cops over here are giving me grief .... i'd rather make it a bit quiter than have to change it ... ;)

I got two from Nitro Performance recently for my twin HKS Hiper system - couldn't bear the noise on the motorway any longer!!!

Make sure you get the 120mm one for the Hiper. I ordered the 115mm ones for some reason (think there were some posts on here saying it was 115mm...) and had to order another two in the right size! :shutit:

i'll have it off ya ... as i measured mine this evening and it's 115mm outside diameter... tried Nitro but they want £25 pound shipping

yours are certainly Hipers.

not all hipers are the same diameter....the ones used on the Monster were for cars like Supras etc etc, they were not just x2 is200 hipers modified

Thanks, Mat. I knew they were Hipers, just thought they were for the IS. I suppose it makes sense they are for the Supra given the Monster's internals! :)

@Enda, yes it's makes a big difference inside the car..... outside it's not as obvious, will have to make a box around the induction kit next as it's louder than the exhaust again...lol

@Adam, yes it all arrived safe and sound, thanks again.... only question is my exhaust has two screw holes and the baffle has only one, is that normal? still fits perfect and doesn't look too bad, take a second glance to see it really

I recorded a before and after (outside) if anyone wants i'll put them up? :)

Cool. Best part is they can be removed in just a few seconds to get the noise back when you want it. I tend to leave mine in now but take them out for special occasions

I find that when the car is cold they are still loud but it quietens down when the car warms up.

My Hipers also have two screw holes and baffles only have one. Not really sure why that is!
