I felt that the IS200 has more power & torque when the air-con is off. However when the air-con is swith on, the car is less responsive & less powerful as when the aircon is off. Anyone care to advise how to improve the situation with the aircon switch on.

you cant! thats the simple answer - the air con pump puts a load on the engine thats why it is less responsive. I f you want it to be more responsive, switch the aircon off and have the windows open!!!

Some people have said that the Lexus IS200 is equipped with the Power Pass. The function of the Power Pass is temporary cuts off aircon compressor when accelerating, helps to reduce stress on engine, therefore shouldnt have the less responsive feeling. Anyone have heard of this Power Pass?
