What Diesel?

Well I may have to change to a diesel in a few months (not that i really want to :crybaby: )!!!

I really dont want to get rid of the lex as i luv driving it, looking at it and having other people admiring it! :D

But unfortunately due to mileage and increase of petrol :crying: i may have to trade it in for a diesel. Now i have been looking and as i thought i just cant find anything that matches the lex in anyway!!!

This wouldnt be a problem if i has loads to spend but i have only got to spend what i would get for my car which is between £4-£5K. :whistling:

So has anyone got any suggestions for a car i could maybe look at? The only preferences are turbo diesel (obviously), classy like the lex, nicley finished (inside and out) and reliable with as low mileage as possible................. not too much on a small budget i know.

Any ideas?????

Are you looking for a prestige diesel? Then your best bets are BMW 3 series (E46), something like a 320d/330d if you can stretch your budget. I quite like the 330d Sport. Or consider an Audi A4, my dad has the 1.9tdi version (with the GmBH kit), very nice. Before that my dad had the A4 1.8t Sport.

If your looking at diesel hatchbacks, then look at somthing like a Golf tdi, or see if you can stretch to a GT TDI. If your not a badge snob, then go for the Seat Leon tdi, basically, its a Golf without the snob factor.

Fiat :crying: please no i couldnt do that!

I would still like to keep the prestige factor if i can and have been looking at maybe a BMW :shutit:

With the A4 i would luv one and that would be my first choice but the shape i like is beyond my budget :crybaby:
