Alright there mate

I've done the conversion my self only two weeks ago, I assume you are putting them in a IS200 s spec or altezza ??, I found that there were no connections under seats for the electric or heated seats (mine being a 2001 model), the only connections that existed were for the heated seat switches. But the wiring isn't difficult!, as the electric seats only need an earth and a fused live, the heated seats only need the live wire coming out the switch to the heat seat wire on the seat, the earth for the heated seats is shared with the electric seat earth wire. You will need to cut the wiring block off the seat loom to do the wiring, I hope this helps mate, If you need a hand just PM me and I'll give you my phone number. This link will help for the electric seats

my current seats have heat already. So i just need to ground it?

You will need to put a fused live from the Battery to the electric seats and an earth, but you may have the wiring ready to plug in if your old seats were already heated, the wiring for the electric seats could have been installed. never realised that they ever did that combination

I have the same problem with fitting my leather seats as the previous ones were manual, I follows the advice in the link bt can't find the additional box that actually connects from the passenger loom into the seat. I can't locate the fitting that fits straight in help

I have also fitted leather/elecantra electric seats from the RHD car to the LHD (I had manual cloth seats with heating). I had to cut all wires and to make new connectors to fit both seats inside. Also, there were no positive wires available, so I decided to make it a bit easier and take some current from the wires going to cigarette lighter. I have heard that seats powered like this are a bit slower than wired directly to the Battery, but in my mind, they are Ok :) Also, the seats won't move without ignition on. Hope it helps.

P.S. Only one problem remains - there is always blinking light that the passenger is not wearing a seat belt even if there is nobody sitting on the seat, if the seat belt is not secured.
