Is200 Se Auto Gearknob

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I have just bought an X Reg IS200SE (Auto) and it has the leather gearknob. I notice that some cars have the chrome metal ball gearknob, which I like.

Is it possible to get this gearknob from anywhere other than a main dealer?

Cheers

Leon.

I belive it was standard and the leather one was an option.

We actually had a thread on this recently, and that's what I thought until we figured out that that wasn't actually true, pre 2001 cars had leather, post 2001 cars had the chrome ball (although post 2001 the leather one was still an option)

Leon,

I have just bought a brand new Genuine Lexus chrome one off eBay for my Sport.

Unfortunately, I didn't realise that the auto knob had a smaller thread aperture and as such it will not fit my manual sport.

Cost me £29.00 + £2.50 p&p and would be happy to let you have it for the same so I can hunt down the correct one.

By all means check out the Dealers first to see if you can get it cheaper but if not then let me know as will be putting back on eBay soon.

Cheers,

Tony
