Hi All,

Just wondering whether you could help - looking to get a set of rims- for my IS, they are 17*8 with an ET 53...would these fit?

With an ET / Offset of 53 they would have to be modified You need offset 38-45

Hi mate - thanks for getting back so quickly!

I saw them on E-bay - they where off a Subaru Impreza STI - same PCD, but with an ET 53...

Oh well - the hunt for a new set of rims continues....

I believe you could use them but would need spacers, but the thread length on the hubs might then be a problem.

45 is the ideal ET allround, I currently run 225/40x18 ET45 Front 255/40x17 ET 50 on the rear with minor arch rolling.

I think the standard alloys are offset 50, but they are 17x7..........ask Gord, he's the alloy fitment king round here :)

The bore size can be overcome with spigot rings. They centre the wheel.

Yes thay will fit, but as others have said you will have to modified, your best bet would be to get the right off-set in the 1st place, find the wheel you are looking for, then post up here and im sure myself or others will help all we can with the fitment for you :D

The STI wheels looks really good - exactly what I was looking for - and really cheap - at only £80 for a set of 4 in silver!...
