hi does anyone have a picture of the main cat on the auto is200? i want to compare it with the one my altezza as200. the one on mine just looks like an oval silencer box. thanks in advance for any help.

red bit is the main cat, in the green scribble underneath its showing its basic shape, it has a heat shielded double inlet from the 2 front manifolds, just after it may be a lambda sensor, there is on European models

what could be easier is you getting a pic of your thing, and i saying if it is or is not

if the main cat is taken completely out will a warning light come on? or would i need a simulator to correct it?

Would you get any more torque/horsepower by fitting a hi flow cat.? as i know that they class cat`s as giving the car cancer.

So could you remove them and still pass the MOT and get a few extra horses or is it not worth it mat.?

you can remove the pre cats...it doesnt really frr that much up, but a little

the exhaust system on the is200, is actually pretty dam well designed

You need a simulator and also a little wiring frig on the heater circuit as well.

Sorted it out on my car for pennies.

The car looks for a resistance on the heater circuit otherwise it throws up a fault code.

So you need to connect it to the heater circuit from another sensor to make it ok.
