Hi,

On my LS430 2001, i noticed that the fuel door was open but there was no indication on my dash, there looks like there should be an indication,

  • should it light up during the lamp test stage when turning on the ignition?
  • where is the switch on the fuel door, I cant see one. only the solenoid
  • can you get to the bulb easily
  • what type is it

I do have the Lexus repair manual but for some reason that section makes my PC crash, i think the CD is damaged

Alex

Just been out and tried mine, no tell tale dash light and nothing on the system test start up. Had a look on my manual and no mention of it, just the door actuator, so no it doesn't have one....

I have a fuel flap open indicator on my celsior! I look through the door mirror and I can see if it's open :whistling:

BTW I was supposed to be going to Rhodes right now but due to the fact she didn't take my passport just the fancy cover I am now back at home!

On the bright side I am going tomorrow via Squeezyjet via Gatwick via the train costing £280.00! umm not so bright that's 2 full fill ups for the LS :whistling:
