If you have a Mark III car........ you would have found this in the search.

Pretty easy to fit at home, and the LS400 is a great tow car. Just dont forget you are towing when the trailer is hitched up.

I noticed that one of the LS400s on eBay yesterday clearly had a towbar fitted.

I'm sure you would get it for a lot less than £220. And if you were to remove it from the broken car, you would know exactly how to fit it to your car.

I know that the MK I & II cars are different from Mk III and also from Mk IIII, so make siue you get the right one.

BTW, your car may be "worthless" from an investment point of view, but it is Best Value from my view, cheap to buy and it is a fifty grand car, with supreme luxury , ride and good performance.

Good luck.

i looked right though eBay and never saw one? can you find it and post the link please?

i love my car and it isn't worthless to me, but its reached the point where its not worth spending a lot of money on. for example i could probably get a tow car with towbar for £150!! which would proably be more economical!! so my theory is to start classing my car as an old banger( which it is NOT!! i think its one of the best mkIII's around) and spending money accordingly.....you catch my drift? it also is going to need a cambelt soon and i don't really want to pay to get that done as it'll cost nearly half the cars value!! but its a lexus and it looks, goes and will last another 100k miles yet at least!! its only got 118k miles at the mo.

it'll look awful with a towbar too!!.....here's a rubbish picture....plan on lowering it soon too

found this one....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1994-LEXUS-LS400-SIL...id=p3286.c0.m14

unfortunately it is a MK II

at least it shows that they are available.

Try Swift, they are based on the south coast and they break LS400.

Search for Swift here and you will find their number.

The towbar from Watling is good, and looks good too.

2 bolts remover and the towball and arm slides out, just like a removeable swan nexk tow bar.

I'll see if I can post a picture for you after the weekend.
