Lowering My Is

Hello

Im new to modifying my car and want to learn but i must start somewhere and will be lowering my car in Jan (currently at sea). I have priced TEIN springs and coilovers, but i was wondering if i needed any other parts for the job?

Not that I know of, several members have had TEIN coilovers on their car, some including the EDFC

so they can be controlled from within the car.

The Tein are very good, and though not cheap, the best route to go down to lower your IS.

The EDFC is not needed, but is lovely little toy. But changing the damper setting while driving not very often needed! Though great for occasional track use etc. Personally, and I'm sure others would agree, I'd rather spend the money on some uprated ARBs (Anti Roll Bars) as this will improve the handling no end, and can be easily fitted at the same time.

Ive priced the springs and coilovers for 540 euro for the set, is that a good price?? how much is it for the ARB's? any recommended make?

i got my tein's from eBay. £450 roughly posted. bran-new , tho its the basic ones as im poor but still really good. id recomend them 110%

i have d2 racing fully adjustable coilovers, and these are amazing, my car sits nice and handles so well, i havn't used tein so cant say if there better or worse, but when buying coilovers for my next car they will be d2's!!!
