There are always some on ebay for sale. No idea on difficulties in fitting, but would imagine a hydraulic press or bearing puller would be the minimum requirements for the job.

Been quoted £200 for bearing, 2 seals and a circlip from lexus. Local motor factor £50, think ill go for that !

It's a pretty heavy car, and being rear wheel drive there are stresses going through the back that aren't there on many other cars. So could well be right... :)

The rear wheel bearings on the 147 look like something a dc-5 should be landing on let alone a car. As long as you have a bearing puller you'll be fine but a can of spray nitrogen from a plumbing shop might make fitting them back on easier and make sure you get some ally drifts too no smacking them in with steel punches/screwdrivers etc ;)
