How Do I Refurb My Is200 Standard Alloy Wheels?

 Share

Recommended Posts

As most of us have experienced, or are experiencing, the standard Lexus IS200 five spoke alloy wheels are a fantastic look and design BUT quite often peel and scab away. They then look black and drishevelled!

I have a 2002 Gunetal Grey which is gorgeous but the flaking and blotched alloys let it down - makes it look older.

What is the best way to bring the alloys back to their former glory and that is cheap and quick to do?

Any suggestions please...

Hello mate, when i bought my is200 sport my wheels were scrubbed to the max, i spent less than £40 on spray apint and wet and dry paper, this is my link when i did mine: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=50691. Still come up good now.

Any tips for doing the alloys?? Im going to give this a try after seeing your effort...

I'll start on the spare first just incase!! :whistling:
