Partition In Glove Box

Hi, I've been trying to remove the partition in the glovebox of my is250 to get at the pollen filer, but I can't get the side of it off...

Is there any special method im missing? Can't seem to find anything in the manual!

The attached shows what Im trying to do:

I can get the partition off the base of the glove box, but can't get off the side of the partition (1st picture, step 2)

I know there is a knack to it because I've observed my mechanic changing this filter. be patient ...don't force it someone will come up with the solution.

Not much help I know...but at least you know you're missing something....good luck

Like pics of dissasembling the B-pillar, whole centre console, back seats etc? (I mean assembling and dissasembling of whole interior :) )

Not a big worry, replacing it is part of the routine service schedule, so let the garage have the hassle for the money.

I have had mine out half a dozen times.Your would appear just to be tight ...use a little more force !!!
