Front Arm Rest?

Hi to all at the Lexus Owners Club.

Second Lexus....first post. I am interested in putting a front arm rest into my IS200 sport, its a 51 plate. Ive mentioned it to a friend but they seem to think i need to change the centre console too.

Is this true or does it just fit straight in? anyone done this before?

You don't need to no, someone on here fitted one recently and posted pics if you search you may find it.

Here's mine fitted: (2000/X reg IS200SE):

You don't need to change the centre console (you need to remove it to install the armrest bracket)

The armrest is hard to come by, as most people on LOC are after one. Keep an eye out on eBay (US) for a used armrest kit or if you have deep pockets a UK Lexus dealer can supply you with one (The top leather part from Lexus is about £300!)

I got lucky, my armrest was free (missus got me mine for my birthday).

I got mine from USA eBay, as did a few others, just a matter of keeping an eye out.
