hello all, my names jay live in hampshire south england. Am 19 and only recently thought of an is as my next car in june when i have 2 years ncb. Well i was sure, and all for gettin a bmw 3 series (i need a rwd car) but upon finding i could just about stretch my budget to a IS, a different, classy and much more reliable car im sold on the idea! I've been looking at insurence which at 19 is a major issue, and ive found i can insure most the models, is there a list of whats different between say an s and a sport etc. wheel PCD would be helpful of these lexu's as im new to the jdm scene as it were lol.

Insurance isnt too bad, just a case of shopping around a bit, i was 19 when i got my IS300 and i found that tesco was the cheapest but with an £800 excess!!

Now i have my GS tesco wouldnt insure me but admiral came back with a very good price.

cheers, is300. mmmmm onedaylol, whats fuel consumption like in the is200? ive heard mixed reports woundered what the reality is lol. mind u after reading lots and lots about is's and lexus in genral now, ls400 engine in an IS shell would be pretty cool lol, but thats way off in the future lol
