Should I Change Car ?

Guys

With my gf having a property completing next week, my commute to work will treble and the distance between my current place and parents will double.

I am now sure whether I should change cars to something 'normal'.

I don't want my car to get wrecked with it being parked up in a busy street/commuting etc.

Or should I just enjoy the car and take it as it comes . . .

Decisions !

I guess the saying ' you don't know what you've got till its gone ' applies.

Once I give it a good old clean and get the auto folding mirrors done, I'm sure I'll be making the most of it !

Have you considered keeping the car and changing your gf? :whistling:

Just enjoy it and try to live with the fuel bills. I guess it depends how far 'trebling' is - going one 2 miles to 6 probably won't make much difference, but going to 20 to 60 will increase your bills by a lot.

You say you don't want your car to get wrecked - but by selling it, you're denying yourself the pleasure of having it at all, which is surely worse? I used to commute to work and park in a busy street, to be honest it didn't really make much difference. I never really got any damage to it, beyond the occasional kerbed wheel which was my own fault anyway!

Thanks for the comments !

Mike you have a very valid point.

I think my journey time has increased more than the actual distance - all the more more joy for having an auto.

I also like the way the 300 can waft along on the torque :)
