Paintjob For Bodykit

Recommended Posts

I've bought myself this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IS200-IS300-Altezza-...=item25579c2f8c

Just curious for those of you whom have bought similar parts i.e spoiler/skirts/bumpers.. How much did you pay for the whole paintjob and fitting?

What would you say is a decent quote?

Thanks

ALSO!!... Here's my 6000K HID Kits from HIDS4U fitted to my Lex! They're the Anti-Glare ones =) 1 set for the dipped and 1 for the fogs. It took the guy 1hour to fit both pairs and he charged me £60. Not bad?

the bodykit you have bought is not genuine. each paint job vary a good pint job will cost more than a crap one but i would say around 300 pound mark. the HID kit looks nice best mod for the price mate

flyeris, They're the 35W =)

Pathiban, I understand what you mean, but i'm just absolutely hopeless when it comes to fitting things DIY lol

P.S. is it worth having HIDs in the fog lights? do they improve the vision noticably once you have the HIDs in the dipped lights?

flyeris, Well yes it does make the vision considerably brighter.. Though i'd recommend you get the dipped beams done first, if that's bright enough then there's no need to grab another set. I only got the other set more for the stylish side rather than brightness, but yes they are very bright. :)

jeffrosie, It's 35w HB4 9006 HID Kit that i've got in the fogs aswell as dipped, got them from HIDS4U. The light above the headlights are simply cheap LED Strips 24cm ones which you can get off eBay for around a £5!

no not really as the bright light that comes off them will reflect off the fog and give you the same affect as having your head lights on ie you wont see far. but that depends on the colour you pic.......if you got 3000k that would be amazing for cutting through fog as the lights have a yellow ting and yellow is the best light for cutting through fog were as white and white/blue reflect off the fog and are poop.

but heres the thing i think it looks better with all lights close to matching ie all the same colours.

i have 10k's in my headlights 8k's for full beam which would mean i need 10k's for my fogs.hhhhhhmmmmmm might look into an other set.
