Alloys Turning Yellow

Guys,

i notcied my front alloys have a tint of yellow on them.. im guessing this is sign of corrosion? yes?

any solutions for this? would i need to refurb the alloy or is there some sort of special alloy polish that can be used to get it back to silver again??

Do you use chemical wheel cleaners on them? If so that's probably why they're going yellow as they've been left on too long and have attacked the metal itself.

I think a refurb is the only option?

hi Aido,

i've only just goit it washed from the jetwash place... they spray some chemical cleaner on the wheels... i guess that may be what it is........

but saying that they only put it on for a few mins and then rinse off :-S
