Is This Switch Supposed To Light Up?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the headlight level adjuster (the little wheel thingy next to the fog light and front headlight squirter buttons) is supposed to light up when you have your headlights on?

The other 2 switches there do, but on mine (2001 - X) the level adjustment one doesn't so wondered if its supposed to (can't remember it ever lighting up) or if the bulb has gone.

Yep- its supposed to light up- the bulb in the next switch along (rear fogs I think?) went on my car last year, got a replacement from Lexus for a few quid. I've also had the bulb in the driver's side heated switch also go.

You should be able to prise the switch out with a small/flat screwdriver- take the switch to Lexus so that they can order a replacement bulb.

Try another dealer- they should be able to sell you a bulb, you don't need the whole switch.

Try Lexuspartsdirect.co.uk- I have bought stuff from them in the past, they are good to deal with. Just fill in a parts request on their website and they will email you a quote.
